I recently had an ATM of a government owned bank dispense counterfeit currencies alongside the usual authentic notes. Was surreal. Called my attorney and going to the central bank monday with all the notes.
Central bank took the counterfeits and, I, attorney, one of their people and a police officer went down to the bank who the ATM belongs to and opened an investigation. I'm sure it's going to amount to nothing because it's an inside job (banking staff helped set up the operation).
All of it was settled when I got my notes back but I had to go down to the station to file a report then to the bank with someone from central bank and the police. And guess when they set it up? We got down to the bank when it was slow hours, ie before lunch, between 10 to 11 am. 😂
It just goes to show how fake and gay this system is. They don't want big scene to cause people to lose faith and start a bank run. So the central bank and government owned commercial bank organized to "star investigation" at slow hours haha
